MEDIA RELEASE (Versión en español / Spanish version) Regarding finding of Dutch national Joran Andreas Petrus Vandersloot; our Policía de Investigaciones de Chile / Chilean Investigative Police (PDI) informs the following:
1.- Dutch national was located today at 12:30 hours by PDI officers, at Curacaví toll from 68 highway while being transferred on a taxi from Viña del Mar to Santiago city.
2.- His location corresponds to a police cooperation request submitted on may 31st by Interpol Lima to Interpol Santiago, within the framework of international cooperation between member countries of international police organization.
3.- Petrus Vandersloot, will remain at International Police and Migration Headquarters from PDI (Jefatura Nacional de Extranjería y Policía Internacional), until resolution of Competent Adminsitrative Authority
4.- It is important to point out that when entered the country on may 31st 2010 through Chilean-Peruvian cross-border (Chacalluta), there were not impediments for this subject to enter our national territory.
